Huge congratulations to Bilton Silver Training Band member, 11 year old Lawrence Whalley, on being offered Music Scholarships to both Princethorpe College and Rugby School.
Lawrence started playing cornet at the age of 6 and we have not only had the pleasure of seeing him develop as both a trumpet and cornet player but also as a confident young man who clearly has many talents.
Lawrence has been a regular and reliable member of Bilton Silver Training Band and has now worked his way through the ranks to the position of Solo Cornet. He has also recently been awarded Silver membership of Bilton Silver Academy4Youth.
