Joe Hughes has been an integral member of Bilton Silver Training Band for many years, as well as a valued member of Bilton Silver Evolution Band.
It has been a pleasure to watch Joe develop into a fine musician over the years and most importantly, into a most likeable and humble young man.
Joe tells us about his future plans:
“I have left today for a 2-year voluntary mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have flown out to USA for a 6-week period of intensive language and missionary preparation training before returning to the France, Lyon mission. This mission covers most of the southern half of France and parts of Switzerland. During these two years I will travel to various different parts of the mission, teaching people who wish to learn about the church and serving in the various communities. I am excited about this opportunity to become fluent in French and to help and serve people in this area.”
We wish him every success in his new adventure and Dad, Paul, also a valued member of Training Band, is sure to keep us up to date on his progress!
