Bilton Silver’s Young Talented Trio

Bilton Silver (Rugby) Band celebrate the recent achievements of three of their young members who have been offered Scholarships to local Independent Schools.

16-year-old Cara McQuillan, a percussionist with the senior band as well as a fine cornet player, received the offer of a Music Scholarship to Princethorpe College 6th Form. 11-year-old Training Band and Evolution Band member, Alex Lawrence who plays violin and euphonium received the offer of a Music Scholarship to Princethorpe College and 13-year-old Jimmy Scanlon, Flugel player with Evolution Band and cornet player with senior band, received the offer of a Music and Academic Scholarship to Rugby School and will become a member of Town House in September.

This is a great achievement in what is a very competitive process – well done to all.
