Laura has been a part of the Bilton Silver organisation since the mid 90s; first as part of the (then) junior band and not long after moving into the senior band to sit next to Greg on bass trombone. She quickly progressed to 2nd trombone and in the early 2000s took up the band’s solo trombone seat where she still resides.
The band has changed so much in the 20+ years that I have been a part of it, what with the growth of the training organisation and the building of our new bandroom. Bilton Silver is a community and whilst we work hard for concerts and contests, we also have a lot of fun. I especially love singing at concerts with the band and being given that opportunity by the MD.
Laura’s real passion is singing and as one of the band’s vocalists you can find her performing at many of the band’s concerts.
